Beyond the touchline

A professional identity should be bigger than a club badge.

The environments change. The responsibility remains: understand the position more deeply, help goalkeepers perform with clarity and contribute ideas that can improve the wider game.

That is why coaching, analysis, writing and speaking are not separate activities. They are different expressions of the same work.

THE POSITION

Goalkeepers do not experience the game like anyone else.

They operate inside the collective and carry a responsibility that can still feel solitary. They decide in fractions of a second, often with incomplete information, while the interpretation of their work is reduced to the final outcome.

That reality shaped my work. I wanted to understand what happens before the visible action: how the goalkeeper reads the game, controls space, communicates, manages pressure and influences what becomes possible.

Today, my coaching connects individual development with the team's game model and uses analysis to create clarity — never noise.

Coaching beliefs

Standards that guide the work.

01

The game comes first.

The exercise must serve a real demand, relationship or decision from competition.

02

Clarity creates courage.

Clear references help the goalkeeper act with conviction when pressure removes time.

03

The person shapes the action.

Emotional control, responsibility and trust are performance qualities — not separate topics.

04

Review must create transfer.

Analysis matters when it becomes a better perception, decision or behaviour in the next moment.

“We do not only train exercises. We train probabilities — and our judgement against immediate danger.”

The next horizon

Contribute at the highest level. Share a different perspective with the football world.

My ambition is to keep growing in demanding football environments, while developing Changing Probabilities into a book and a wider conversation around the goalkeeper.
